The clean condition of the room and new bathroom
Lee Vining is a unique town, and a gateway to Yosemite and Mono Lake.
Great location, wonderful room, spacious and clean
The room was very clean and simple, with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. We were in town for my Mom's memorial. Her parents were the original owners of the Lee Vining Motel, then called Calhoun's Modern Cabins. My mom grew up cleaning those rooms and I even helped a few times when I was 4. It was nice to find them as clean and comfortable as I remember. This was a full-circle moment for me. The new owners are working hard to make it a quality haven for those who desire simplicity while enjoying the glorious scenery.

The location after Yoesmite traveling to Las Vegas
Convenient. Comfortable. Recent snow and cold. We had to figure out how to get the heater to work.
We showed up to the hotel at 5pm after travelling 10 hours to find out thet the city shut down electricity in the entire city which they had known for weeks...they are refusing to refund...getting the run around..we had to find a campsite last minute since there were no hotels in that city or in the park at 5-6pm same day...this is fraud...they knew the city was shutting electric down that night and they took the reservation anyway and refusing refund

Bed was comfortable, and the shower water was nice and hot. Property was close to the highway.. The property also was close to a nice restaurant.
The room was small and musty. Old but somewhat refurbished motel.. The heat didn't work. On the plus side, the owners were very responsive. Glad it was just a one night stay. Not worth $205.

GREAT PLACE WITH THE MOST FUN CHECK-IN SYSTEM IN THE WORLD. Handy to everything. Great eating just next door, gas close also. Would stay again...
The bed was mostly comfortable, but the pillow was terrible.

Amazing stay.
The location was excellent right next to 2 restaurants that were very good! It's a very small town close to the entrance to Yosemite. The room was very clean, quiet with a very comfortable bed, AC, and a large bathroom with good hot shower. The managers were also very nice and check in was a breeze. The exterior is a cool vintage vibe, not some chain.
It was very easy to check in - we arrived late & everything was ready for us. The room was really nice & newly remodeled with a homey feel.
